How does work flow in this system?

Every app or release starts as a card in “UX”, where the screens and user experience are designed and approved by the client, then moves to “Development” for the actual build, then “QA”, where the team tests on real devices and documents defects on the card until the build is clean. Then “Store Release” to upload the build to the stores and track review approvals, then “Monthly Update” for the cycle of continuous improvements and fixes, and “Invoicing”, where release payments and monthly maintenance contracts are billed.

Dues ties money to delivery: a payment for each shipped release and the monthly maintenance-contract fee for each app — so management knows which apps are profitable and which drain the team. Chat is for daily coordination between developers and testers, and Announcements is for what concerns everyone: new store policies from Apple or Google affecting all apps, or the retirement date of an old version.

The studio manager owns client relationships, approves designs, and signs off on readiness before release; developers execute “Development” and fix defects returned from “QA”; and the testing team owns the “QA” gate — no release without a documented test report on real devices. At “Monthly Update”, client requests and user reviews from the store are gathered and prioritized to feed the next release.

Who does what?

The operational roles in this system and each role's responsibility in daily work — assign them to your team as-is or adapt them to your reality.

Studio Manager

Owns client relationships: approves “UX” designs with them, signs off each build's readiness before “Store Release”, and reviews release invoicing and maintenance contracts.

Developers

Execute “Development” to the approved designs, fix defects returned from “QA”, and prepare release packages for the stores.

QA Team

Owns the “QA” gate: testing on real devices and documenting defects on the card with reproduction steps — no release without their final report.

Stores Coordinator

Manages store accounts and their requirements: uploads builds and tracks review approvals, and monitors user reviews and ratings to feed the “Monthly Update”.

Welcome announcement: «Welcome to the Studio System»

From today, every app passes as a card from “UX” to “Invoicing”, nothing ships to the store without a documented QA report on real devices, and new store policies reach you here the moment they are issued. First step: register the apps in progress at their correct stages and post the monthly maintenance contracts in Dues.
