How does work flow in this system?
Every audit engagement is a card that starts in “Planning” by understanding the client's business, assessing the risks of material misstatement, and defining the scope of work and the test plan, then moves to “Systems Review”, where the field team studies the client's internal control systems and evaluates their effectiveness. Then comes “Testing” to perform detailed verification procedures on balances and transactions and attach the working papers to the card, then “Draft Report” to write up the findings and the proposed opinion, and finally “Opinion & Issuance” after the audit manager's review and signature of the final report.
Field teams move between clients and coordinate over Chat: requesting an account statement from the client, arranging a surprise inventory count, or a quick question to the field supervisor. Professional guidance, on the other hand — how we treated a slow-moving inventory valuation or recognized property revenue — is documented in the Forum so new auditors can draw on it and the firm's methodology stays unified across teams, however many locations they work from.
Dues records the fees of each engagement and its installments, plus field-team expenses such as lodging and travel for out-of-town clients, visible only to management. The field supervisor moves the card across columns daily and flags high-risk items, and the audit manager signs no report in “Opinion & Issuance” until the working papers on the card are complete and their notes on the draft are addressed — because a signature is a statutory responsibility that cannot rest on the team's memory.
Who does what?
The operational roles in this system and each role's responsibility in daily work — assign them to your team as-is or adapt them to your reality.
Audit Manager
Approves engagement plans in “Planning”, reviews draft reports and material professional judgments, and signs reports in “Opinion & Issuance”.
Field Supervisors
Lead the teams at the client's site, distribute tests among the auditors, review working papers daily, and move the card across the columns.
Staff Auditors
Perform the tests assigned to them and upload working papers and supporting documents to the card, recording their observations as they go.

«Working Rules for This System» — Pinned in the forum
1) No engagement outside the system: every audit appointment is registered as a card with an approved plan before fieldwork begins. 2) Working papers are uploaded to the card the day they are completed and never stay on personal devices. 3) Professional guidance is documented in the Forum — Chat is for quick field coordination only. 4) No signature in “Opinion & Issuance” before the working papers are complete and review notes are addressed. 5) Fees and field expenses are recorded in Dues as they occur.
