This is the system board as you'll receive it: workflow columns and starter cards showing the first steps

How does work flow in this system?

The day starts in the “Prep” column: cards for preparing ingredients before opening — cutting, marinating, setting up the production line — each card due before peak time. When sales begin, work moves to “Service” where order quality, speed, and any customer note are tracked; in parallel, “Inventory” holds cards for items nearing stockout and daily supplier orders. Shift handovers run in “Shift” with documented handovers between supervisors including open cases, and the day closes in “Closing & Daily Report” reconciling cash, sales, waste, and its causes.

Chat is the peak operations room: the cashier alerts the kitchen about a large order, the supervisor redistributes stations under pressure, and an instant alert goes out when an item runs out so it is temporarily removed from the menu until restocked. Announcements are for the restaurant manager: price and new-meal updates, hygiene and uniform standards, and customer rating results — what is published here binds everyone from their next shift.

Dues records daily supplier payables — vegetables, meats, packaging consumables — and shift cash floats privately, so the day’s cost appears against its sales before the week closes, and the manager knows which items eat their margin through waste.

Who does what?

The operational roles in this system and each role's responsibility in daily work — assign them to your team as-is or adapt them to your reality.

Restaurant Manager

Plans daily prep based on sales forecasts, approves prices and meals and announces them, and reviews “Closing & Daily Report” comparing days against each other.

Shift Supervisors

Assign stations on their shifts and monitor service speed and quality, and document shift handovers in the “Shift” column with open cases.

Cooks

Execute “Prep” cards before the peak and stick to unified preparation standards, and report immediately any item about to run out.

Cashiers

The face and speed of sales; coordinate with the kitchen via Chat at peak, and reconcile their cash float before handing over the shift.

Inventory Officer

Follows “Inventory” cards, receives and inspects the day’s supplies, and records supplier payables in Dues with their due dates.
