How does work flow in this system?

A production order arrives as a card in the “Order” column with quantity, specification, and required delivery date. The production planner reviews it and moves it to “Capacity” to check available capacity and required materials against existing orders; if capacity suffices, it moves to “Scheduling” and is assigned a production line and execution window. When production starts it moves to “Execution”, followed on the floor by the shift supervisor; then to “Tracking” to reconcile actual output against plan daily. Any emergency — a line breakdown, a late material, an urgent order — moves the card to “Adjustment” for rescheduling without getting lost; and after delivery it rolls into “Report” with the actual output numbers.

Chat is the direct line between the planning room and the production floor: a breakdown alert, a priority change, or a material-availability question passes through it instantly so the line never stops waiting for a reply. Dues records the operating cost of each order: overtime hours, consumed materials, transport fees — so the planner sees the actual cost of scheduling, not the theoretical one, and computes the cost impact of every adjustment before approving it.

Work flows between three roles: the production planner receives orders, builds the schedule, and owns accept-or-reschedule decisions; the shift supervisor executes on the floor and updates “Execution” and “Tracking” cards with actual output; and the materials coordinator makes sure every card reaching “Scheduling” has its materials ready. When two orders compete for the same capacity, the planner settles it on the board and the parties are notified via Chat in the same moment.

Who does what?

The operational roles in this system and each role's responsibility in daily work — assign them to your team as-is or adapt them to your reality.

Production Planner

Receives orders, checks capacity, and builds the schedule; owns the “Order”, “Capacity”, and “Scheduling” cards and redistributes on any adjustment.

Shift Supervisor

Executes the schedule on the lines, updates “Execution” and “Tracking” cards with actual output, and reports any deviation instantly via Chat.

Materials Coordinator

Verifies material availability before a card moves to “Scheduling”, and records actual consumption and costs in Dues.
