Garment Factory System
Sewing and garment factories with seasonal models and cutting, sewing, and finishing lines.
The garment from pattern to cutting, sewing, finishing, quality, and packing, all the way to delivery.
No credit card required — your project is set up with the full system in under a minute
This is the system board as you'll receive it: workflow columns and starter cards showing the first steps
How does work flow in this system?
Every new model enters as a card in “Model” with the pattern, sizes, colors, planned quantities, and a design photo. It moves to “Cutting”, where cutting technicians prepare fabrics to the pattern and document the waste rate on the card, then to “Sewing”, distributed across production lines by each line's specialty, then “Finishing” for buttons, labels, and final pressing.
After finishing the card moves to “Quality” to check stitching, sizing, and appearance on samples of every color and size; any recurring defect is sent back to the sewing line documented. Then “Packing” and boxing by size and color with carton content lists, and “Delivery” to the store or customer with proof of receipt.
Chat runs between line supervisors: fabric insufficient to complete the quantity, a machine down needing a technician, a size change from the customer before cutting. Dues records fabric and trim purchases, piece-rate wages for sewers, receivables from customers and boutiques, and their payments — so the production manager knows the unit cost of every model precisely and prices next season on that basis.
Who does what?
The operational roles in this system and each role's responsibility in daily work — assign them to your team as-is or adapt them to your reality.
Production Manager
Approves models and quantities, schedules lines across stages, and reviews “Quality” and waste and rejection rates.
Cutting Technicians
Prepare patterns and cut fabrics to size, and document waste on each model's card.
Sewers
Carry out sewing stages on the lines by specialty, and update cards daily with completed quantities.
Quality & Packing Officer
Inspects samples and approves finishing, and supervises “Packing” and carton lists before “Delivery”.
