Every consequential product decision — a direction change, adopting a principle, passing on a market — is born as a card in “Decision” the moment it is made in the meeting. It moves to “Documentation”, where it is written as a decision record: the context, the options considered, what we chose and why, who decided, and when. Then “Sharing”, reaching everyone it concerns in understandable form — a decision that never reached its executors was never really made. The card is tracked in “Adoption” to confirm teams actually work by it; then “Review” at a set date: is it still right, or have the facts overtaken it? Whatever needs changing enters “Update”, where a new decision is written pointing back to its predecessor.

The Forum is the official decision register: every decision is a documented topic that can be debated and objected to within a defined window before it is locked — so objections are heard once, in an orderly way, instead of silent resistance during execution. Approved methodologies and frameworks also live in the Forum, always current, so no team works from an outdated version of the way of working.

The methodology manager owns the system: turning meeting outputs into “Decision” cards, guarding documentation quality, and scheduling periodic reviews. Product managers write their own decisions in the approved format and answer objections in the Forum. Everyone affected by a decision finds it in “Sharing” and knows where to discuss it. The result: the question “when did we decide this, and why?” never goes without a documented answer.
