Fish Farm System

Each pond or cycle is managed as a card starting in “Fingerlings” with species, count, source, and stocking date documented, moving to “Grow-out”, where it stays for the cycle's months: daily feeding, growth rates, periodic weights, and mortality are recorded on it. The “Water” column runs in parallel throughout the cycle: daily checks of dissolved oxygen, temperature, ammonia, and salinity, with any out-of-range reading treated immediately and documented. At target weight the card moves to “Harvest” with the pond drained and fish sorted and weighed, then “Sale” delivering quantities to customers at agreed prices, and finally “Pond Prep” with cleaning, disinfection, and refilling in readiness for a new cycle.

Chat is for reports measured in minutes: oxygen dropping, a pump stopped, sudden mortality — the technician reports and the manager decides the intervention at once. Dues privately records the costs of fingerlings and feed — the biggest item — electricity, medicines, and technician wages against each cycle's sales, so each pond's profitability shows at its end.

The technician logs daily water readings on the card, and any exceedance reaches the manager over Chat at the same moment. The harvest decision is built on the growth data accumulated in “Grow-out” compared with market price, and after the sale no new fingerlings are stocked until completed “Pond Prep” is documented.
