How does work flow in this system?
Every day, children’s cards move across the day’s columns: starting at “Drop-Off” where the supervisor notes the child’s state on arrival — mood, health, and any note from the parents — then “Activities” where planned educational and motor activities are run and the child’s engagement documented; then “Meals” to log what they ate, how much, and any allergy observed; then “Nap Time” to monitor sleep and rest. At day’s end the card moves to “Pick-Up” where the child is handed to their parent with the key notes, and finally “Daily Report” summarizing the child’s day and shared with the family.
Chat runs between teachers, supervisors, and the director: a child with a fever needing a call to parents, shift coordination, or an activity supplies request — quick decisions for a fast day. Announcements carry nursery circulars to parents: special activity dates, supplies requests, seasonal health alerts, and nursery holidays.
Dues manages monthly fees privately: each child’s subscription, payment status, and add-on services like evening care, visible only to the director and accounting — so arrears are known without embarrassment in front of teachers or families.
