How does work flow in this system?

The plant cycle starts in the “Production” column: cards for seedlings and varieties under propagation with expected readiness dates and quantities; when growth completes they move to “Ready for Sale” and become available to the sales and landscaping teams. Direct sales pass through “Sales”, while home and corporate garden landscaping projects enter “Landscaping Contract” with the scope, agreed plants, and monthly contract value. After execution they move to “Recurring Visit” with the agreed maintenance and replacement schedules, and the cycle closes in “Invoicing” with contract and visit invoices.

Chat runs between the nursery supervisor and the landscaping team: availability of a variety an active contract needs, a visit time changed at the client’s request, or photos of wilting plants at a site needing quick intervention. Announcements carry the supervisor’s instructions: seasonal watering and fertilizing programs, new variety availability, and heat- or cold-wave alerts with plant protection procedures — these alerts bind everyone the moment they are published.

Dues manages monthly landscaping contract receivables from companies and homes, and the nursery’s purchases of soil, fertilizers, and pots, so the owner sees fixed contract income versus variable sales, and spots the contract whose visit costs exceed its monthly value.

Who does what?

The operational roles in this system and each role's responsibility in daily work — assign them to your team as-is or adapt them to your reality.

Nursery Supervisor

Manages “Production” and “Ready for Sale”, decides watering and fertilizing programs and announces them in Announcements, and designates the varieties ready for sale or reserved for contracts.

Landscaping Team

Executes “Landscaping Contract” jobs at client sites, carries out “Recurring Visit” schedules, and documents plant condition with photos on the card.

Sales Officer

Runs direct sales in “Sales”, suggests suitable varieties to customers based on their locations, and keeps “Ready for Sale” balances up to date.

Contracts Coordinator

Wins and negotiates new landscaping contracts, schedules recurring visits, and follows monthly contract invoicing in “Invoicing” and Dues.

Welcome announcement: «Welcome to the Nursery System»

This system connects production, sales, and contracts in one place: every variety is a card from “Production” to “Ready for Sale”, and every landscaping contract is a card whose recurring visits are tracked through invoicing. Watering and fertilizing programs and weather alerts are published in Announcements. Start by logging current production varieties with their readiness dates.
